Izanami no Umarekawari

This is a scythe that I adopted from !

The name I chose means The Reincarnation of Izanami. Izanami is a Japanese goddess who represents both life and death. In legend she was said to have reincarnated somehow, before her death and era in the land of the dead, but no record was found as to what that reincarnation was. This part of her has chosen to protect one of the miko serving at her shrine, giving her a connection to the living after her death.
